Recent year was really busy for pop star Britney Spears. She gave birth to her second child, lost her baby weight, moved to a new house, got to work on her new album, filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Singer also played the main part of many scandals like driving with her son Sean Preston on her lap, or when the boy fell out of this high chair. Realationship with Paris Hilton also didn’t bring  her a good reputation. Spears even has been named the most controversial celebrity of the year.
What the star decided to change in her life in New Year?
“Stop biting my nails. Just to take care of me more” , she said about her New Year’s resolutions. Recently she also admitted that she had taken her new found freedom a bit too far.
At her New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas, Spears fell asleep, but as her rep insists it was a result of exhaustion, not alcohol.

Nicole Richie insists it’s not true she underwent gastric bypass surgery and then had the operation reversed. New York Post printed an information that “‘Hollywood starlet’ had gastric bypass surgery – and then, after losing too much weight, went in to have the gastric band removed.” But her attorney denying, “It is not Nicole. There are a ton of ‘Hollywood starlets.”  Star’ weight has been the subject of  a lot of rumors. Allegedly she underwent diagnostic treatment to put on weight. Her father, the singer Lionel Richie believes in his daughter, “She’s worrying me to death, but she’s gonna be okay,” he says.

Kate Winslet admitted she wants more kids. She already has Mia, 6, and Joe, 3.
It looks as if she was realy happy with her motherhood. “Mia said to me the other day in the car, ‘Mum, I really love your cooking.’ To me it was a sort of incredibly triumphant moment, the fact that she observed that I do cook their meals. It’s great when the mum can be the person who represents all of those nurturing things for her kids. My mum was certainly that for me, ” she said in a new interview. As she admitted she is doing her best to teach her children a non-materialistic sensibility and she asks her family and friends not to go overboard with gifts for the kids.

But in fact it’s not true. And (there are) quotes of Beyonce saying it’s about time we had a female Brokeback Mountain. And we’re like, we never said that,” adds actress. Longoria’s attorneys are doing their best to find the original source of the rumor. Knowles’ lawyer also denied the rumor by saying “This is not happening. We’ve never heard of this film.”

Mariah Carey has decided to sue a consortium of Asian concert promoters, as they  cancelled a Hong Kong concert. She made up that decision because, as she says, she  had prepared for it for a long time. Carey’s legal want for her from One bosses $1 million for the preparation the singer did before they scrapped the show. Bosses at One Group Investments Private Limited insist they had no choice and they had to cancelled the October 28 concert because of Carey’s “unreasonable last-minute demands” and  “poor ticket sales”.

Kate Winslet recently revealed that as an overweight teen was shy and vulnerable. She was called  “blubber”.  “Other girls teased me terribly. I was bullied, I would just put my head down and get on with it. This was my means of survival,” she said. When she was 15 everything has changed, as she met  her first love: 28-year-old television actor and writer Stephen Tredre. “Stephen was very inspiring. He had this extraordinary zest for life. My life revolved around him,” Winslet says. As actress admitted Tredre had a huge infuance on her future live. When Winslet was 19 she ditched  Stephen although he had a cancer. “There was no point to his suffering. No rhyme or reason to it. When Stephen had gotten better and his cancer was in remission, we broke up. I don’t know why. I was so young, when I look back on it. Only 19. How could I have left a person who was so unwell? I thought Stephen was going to be all right.” she reveals. After their split, “He got ill again. Stephen and I talked every day. This was not somebody I’d turn my back on.”
In 1997 her Tredre died, it was the same week when Titanic came out. She wasn’t at the movie’s Los Angeles premiere to be at his funeral. “Looking back. I see what I was dealing with when Titanic came out. I had a lot of pain, and I was confused about who I was,” she said.
Now Winslet is a wife of director Sam Mendes, 41. They have two kids, Mia, 6, and Joe, 2.  and lead happy life in their home in Manhattan.

Nicole Kidman didn’t want to talk about her husband Keith Urban ’s decision so much that she recently canceled appearances to promote her new film Fur. Keith Urban decided to check himself into a rehab facility. After few months of marriage Urban announced last week that he was seeking treatment for alcohol abuse. Actress even missed a mini-screening of her film at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday night in New York City and a posh dinner hosted by the film’s executive producer Ed Pressman. It is said that she also won’t appear at the high-profile New York City premiere on Sunday night, leaving co-star Robert Downey, Jr. and director Steve Shainberg to promote the film.
